Ginger Whipped Cream

Makes approximately 1 cup


1½ cups heavy cream, chilled
A ½” piece of ginger, peeled and grated
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract


In a large bowl, add cream, and whip until soft peaks form. Add ginger, sugar, and vanilla, and continue to whip until stiff peaks form. Serve with lime pie.
